E-Commerce & Website Manager

We are looking for an E-Commerce & Website Manager to join our tightknit team to manage and grow our e-commerce businessand online presence.  The successful candidate must be a detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with our Brooklyn flagship team, this role will report directly to the co-founders and will manage all aspects of the website, as well as assist in the implementation of marketing strategy, advertisements and social media accounts.  Part-time or Full-time being considered. 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Maintain day-to-day functionality, content and look of website.

Create and upload all product imagery and information (including copywriting product descriptions, sizing conversions)

Maintain Facebook / Instagram shop in conjunction with website

Coordinate with Operations on timing of deliveries and with Photographer for flat shoots

Work closely with web developers and assist in design updates and future development of website

Maintain sales reports and monitor analytics and internal POS data to grow e-commerce business

Assist in development of marketing and advertising initiatives

Create and manage weekly marketing emails and other social media posts  

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE:

Proficiency in all aspects of Shopify platform

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

Experience with email marketing platforms 

Experience with Office Suite, in particular Excel

Experience with Meta channels 

Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast paced environment 

Detail oriented, self-motivated and proactive team player

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Graphic design experience is a plus

Sales Associate: Brooklyn Flagship

Must be available 2-3 days, including one weekend day. Candidate must be based in NYC.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Maintaining the highest degree of
customer service

Ensuring store presentation and operating standards meet expectations

Developing and maintaining a strong knowledge of our POS system

Developing and maintaining a high level of product knowledge

Other inventory and operations duties

APPLICANTS MUST:

Have an interest in Pilgrim Surf + Supply and an understanding of the company culture

Be able to multitask and self-motivate, must be a team player

Be comfortable in a public-facing role and in a fast-paced environment

Have a working knowledge of fabrics, clothing construction, and about the brands we carry

Be comfortable wearing multiple hats 

Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills 

Have 2+ years prior sales experience

Experience in surfing and/or other
outdoor pursuits like skating, hiking, cycling, running preferred; experience riding a variety of surfboards and knowledge of board design is a plus
